Places Edit : The Best Farmers Market Ever

To market to market we go!!
Everyone loves a good farmers market. The perfect thing to do on a weekend. Gathering your fresh produce, spices, flowers, artisan wears, fresh coffee, baked goods and more...
The ever popular, Saturday Morning Market is one of the best farmers markets I have ever visited. The Hours are Saturday 9am-2pm. It is located next door to the Al Lang Stadium right on the harbor in lovely Saint Petersburg, Florida. The elements of the market include local organic farmers, diverse artisan foods, selective craft and art markers, and live music.

There is something for everyone!

There are over 100 vendors that participate in the market and 10,000 visitors weekly. You will need to bring a few bags or market baskets to carry all of your goods home. Come hungry and ready to shop or sit at an umbrella table and listen to the band. I go every weekend and still have not visited every vendor.

A few of my favorite vendors:

Holy Guacamole - homemade chips, pico, guac, ceviche, salsas.
Glen Family Bakery - fudge brownies, fresh, baked breads, bagels, coffee cakes.
Stamper Cheese - amazing selection of artisan cheeses.
Empanada World - every flavor combination you can image...get in line!
Auroras Fresh Produce - fresh local produce and herbs.
Dairy Free Creamery - homemade small batch none dairy cheeses that are simply divine.
Key West Seafood Co. - fresh catch seafood in limited quantities...grab some black grouper!
Big Crush Craft & Mocktails - homemade exotic herb & fruit mixtures in refillable bottles.

I highly recommend a trip to the market on a sunny Florida Saturday morning.  You will enjoy the experience and feel the strong sense of  a connected and creative community.
